Spectrum DS is designed for use in drought-stressed, high salinity, and sodic soils. Drought stress greatly impacts plants by reducing yield, crop quality, and the availability of soil nutrients, leading to higher input costs, and lower profits. Blended with an emphasis on drought and salt tolerant microorganisms, Spectrum DS can help mitigate these damaging effects and allow crops to thrive in harsh environments.
The following are maximum one-time application rates. If budget-constrained, I suggest cutting the application rates and applying more frequently throughout the season.
Fertigation/Soil Drench
Mix 1 tsp. to 1 Tbsp per gallon of water.
Apply every 7-10 days through drip irrigation or apply 8 oz. per plant around the root zone for 6” pots, 32 oz. per 5 gallon pot, 64 oz. per 10 gallon pot, etc.
Pre-Plant Propagation Inoculation and Starter Program
Mix 1 tsp. to 1 Tbsp in 10 gallons of water to soak plugs or soil prior to propagation.
Lightly mist new seedlings with a mixture of 1 oz. per gallon of water in conjunction with trace minerals.
Repeat weekly after plants are 12-15” high and have at least three full sets of leaves.
